Their Testimony
Pastors Andy and Ruth
Mangiacapre both came to the know the Lord in 1980 at an Amway
convention in Syracuse New York. They were passionate about the Lord
from the beginning and experienced a lot of healing and deliverance
over the years. Andy has always had a heart for the lost, and the
less fortunate, and has served the Lord over the years in street
evangelism, hospital visitation, nursing homes, and a variety of
helps ministries in the churches they were part of. Andy and Ruth
founded
Impact ministries
of the Triad in 2006, of which Free Spirit Motorcycle ministry
is a part. Andy loves to ride his Harley with other riders that
share his vision to minister on the streets. They also raise money
for those that are less fortunate around the holidays and they have
done many benefit rides for those with life threatening illnesses.
Ruth had already been in full time ministry for over 10 years prior
to New Day. She previously served as an associate Pastor for 7 years
in Jamestown. She has traveled both here and abroad as a short term
missionary, conference speaker/ teacher and mentor. Her passion is
to equip the saints and release them into their God given destiny.
Andy and Ruth are both ordained ministers. They have been married
for 33 years and their grown children Dana, and Andrew and their
spouses all know the Lord. They are the proud grandparents of the
love of their life, Jude Timothy.
They are thrilled to serve at New Day. They see New Day as a cutting
edge church that God is using in this region to bring revival and
the restoration of the 5 fold ministry. They are willing to do
whatever it takes to see God establish His Kingdom here on the
earth.
